What HELP Means To Me
From the start of my journey to the Philippines up to this moment, I have gained a lot of experiences, I have found a precious friendship, and I learned more about the English language in HELP. It will always be an unforgettable memory for me.
I can still remember how I felt on the first day as I got off the bus at midnight when we arrived in HELP Clark campus; I put down my bag and laid down on the bed of my new dormitory room, feeling exhausted. The morning came and the day started, I finally got to meet my teachers. I really like the teachers in HELP. They listened to me carefully and talked slowly so I could understand them. At once, I thought it feels pleasant to be in such a place where teachers pay enough attention to their students. I also like the managers in HELP, they are very kind and they take good care of all the students.
More so than anything else, I like the weather. In my opinion, I think it is hotter in Thailand because I didn’t sweat as much while I’m in the Philippines. Also, the food that they serve in the school cafeteria is great! I have never tried eating any Korean food before. I am only familiar with a few Korean dishes so I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I instantly changed my mind when I tasted it.
Being in HELP for two weeks, I was able to do so many things that I haven’t done for so long such as swimming, playing badminton and dodge-ball. I very much liked the morning exercise because it makes me feel active.
I can really say that I like everything that I saw and experienced while studying in HELP, although it was short-lived. In just a blink of an eye, my time in the Philippines has gone by so quickly. I know in my heart that it truly means so much and I am going to miss the school, all the teachers, and my JR camp friends.
